Waking up this morning realizing today is the big day. We get to see our hero for the first time in our six months.
This little boy has been my absolute sunshine, my motivation to wake up determined, and my inspiration to spend every day smiling & happy. He has been the light through every dull day of deployment. He makes me want to be better, stronger, more capable, & more focused. We have spent 205 days away from our guy, and we are finally, FINALLY here!!!
Today is the day we will wrap our arms around our hero and hold on tight...so we've been working on our fitness, together, lest he try to wriggle free... ;)
Homecoming day was perfect. I had butterfly's in my stomach as the ship was pulling in. Mesias did great waiting for daddy to arrive. Thank goodness I brought snacks and entertainment while waiting.
There was a little bit of confusion when it came to if they would be pulling in in at night or super early in the morning. So I decided to put lights on the poster just in case. It also had a few cool settings to make sure daddy had no problems with seeing us. Follow us on Pinterest
HE'S BACK!!!!
Instead of making a cake, I decided to get his favorite drinks for the party.
What's a celebration without Jack and Coke?
