Three Months Down

So much has happened during the month of April for us. As you can see Mesias and I have been VERY busy with volunteering in our new communities. I started volunteering at the age of 4 and ever since then I have been honored to receive the President Volunteer Service Award. Being able to help others in need and getting involved with your local communities can really not only make it a better place to live in, but also make you a be better person. About a week ago Mesias and I volunteered at the VA while enjoying activities with retired veterans and hearing their legendary stories. Well lets just say he enjoyed it up until it was nap time and he ended up passing out in one of the directors office.

We have officially completed 500 hours of community service work. Some of the amazing organizations that we were honored to volunteer for; United Service Organizations (USO), Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure, VA and Operation Homefront.

This month some of our friends from LA came to visit us which was pretty cool. We went to La Jolla beach for a nice picnic and finally went to visit the Strawberry Farm! I did not realize how much Mesias really enjoyed strawberries until we bought a pound and ate them all on the way home.

Wrapping this month up with a bang, because we are half way though. :)

Happy Earth Day.

Another month bites the dust.

See You Next Month
