Lately I have been receiving emails and reading comments with people asking questions pertaining to, what kind of unique apps do I use during deployments. As a new military spouse, I had to literally figure out things on my own especially when it all comes down to surviving deployments yet alone keeping my sanity. With that being said, lets get down to my current top 3 Survival Deployment Apps that I have on my iPhone and iPad.

1) Doing Time (Because you both are literally doing time being away from your spouse and families) By Alexandria Software. Now I am sort of big on looking for reviews when I look at a app before I download. Even though it does not have a lot of reviews, I totally took a chance and I was not disappointment whatsoever.

This app is free for the iPhone and iPod touch users. Going down on memory lane, I remember back in high school I did NOT enjoy excel spreadsheets projects and every time I had to use different pie charts I always called it “The Donut of Misery.” Now what a coincidence that doing time actually looks like a donut. This is a pretty cool simple and I highly recommend trying it out.

2) Countdown‼ (Event Reminders, Timer and Calendar Event Countdowns) By Sevenlogics, Inc.

If you are looking for a more fancy way to do a countdown, this is your app. You can customize it to have music playing in the background and photos of your choosing which is nice. Currently, I have Countdown By Beyonce playing in the background which gets me motivated everyday. This app has a lot of popular reviews verse the first app. This is also a free designed for iPhone and iPad users.

3) Dreamdays Lite: Count Down to the Days that Matter By Yao Liu. Another awesome popular countdown app that I like to call fancy.
