Ready for another twin pregnancy update? I’m now 30 weeks pregnant with twins!
Babies Genders: Boy AND Girl (names will be revealed after birth).
Due Date Update: Will deliver no later than September 4.
Things to Note:
- I almost skipped this week (too busy), but I traveled to LA for a couple of meetings. I did well in the car, but definitely had to make a few stops to use the bathroom and stretch.
- Picked up some items from our registry; Ready2Grow LX Stroller, Mom Boss Car Seat Cover, and a few Nursing Supplies.
- REGULAR DOCTOR APPOINTMENT TURNED INTO HOSPITAL STAY. I had a 33 week regular check up that ended up with my blood pressure being elevated at 173/88. Went straight to labor and delivery so that they can just monitor my blood pressure and run regular test. Babies were doing fantastic.
At 32 weeks I had a ultrasound. We found out that baby A (girl) is weighing 4lbs 13oz and baby B (boy) is weighing 4lbs 4oz. Both head down.
- I've really started to feel and notice the weight gain this week. I know it's necessary (I'm not eating too horrible), so when I have a negative thought about my body I just think..."You're growing two babies. Give yourself a break." I already have a plan to start the Pure Barre Baby Bounce Back plan when I find the time/energy after the babies are born.
Exercise: 30 min walk and yoga.
Symptoms:- Major heartburn, Braxton Hicks and the round ligament pain (which is No fun).
For the 4th of July we did a lot of walking on the bay and I had braxton-hicks the entire time we were out. They continued the rest of the night during the fireworks as well. I got a bit worried, and thought to myself, "I need to go put the car seats in! What if these babies come soon?!" I did some googling, and I think it just had to do with the fact that I was having so much fun that I possibly didn't stay hydrated enough.
Over the past couple of weeks I've had a sudden increase in being uncomfortable, but I’m wondering how on earth I am going to make it another eight weeks if that. It seems a lifetime away, even though it isn’t. Everything is getting difficult now. Picking things up, bending down, and even house chores. Tony and I both cannot stand a messy house even if there are toys all over the place. We are tidy individuals and that's what I love about us.
I am feeling like I was in the last week or two of a singleton pregnancy, where I’m wondering how much longer I can possibly stretch, how much more I can possibly grow and how much heavier I can possibly become. My belly is getting very heavy. Getting out of bed is a big struggle. I need my Tony every single time to help lift me up out of bed and sometimes Mesias wants to help. Thank goodness for my pregnancy cradle my doctor ordered for me a while back. It is doing wonders for my back pain, and also helps reduce and relieve the swelling from my feet.
Nursery: Haven't done much other than pile the diapers, wipes in the middle of the room and organize the baby cloths from N-24 Months. We are still behind on getting the basic stuff for the babies, but hopefully we can finish up in the next couple of weeks. For the nursery we decided not to decorate it with all the crazy bust colors because we are more into neutral colors when it comes to interior design like the ones below.
Well that pretty much wraps up my 30 week update. Thank you for reading.
