Pregnancy: Week 15 + Easter

It’s the weekend! So far we’ve gone to the beach, bought some new toys for outside, and played at the bounce house place. You can tell who runs the show around here. We’ll work on that later.

Past couple of days we have been window shopping to get some ideas on what the babies and I will need. Besides that I guess that means it’s time for another pregnancy update. As I mention in our twin pregnancy announcement, I have been a little behind on week updates, but as of now I believe I am starting to catch up. This one covers weeks 15, 16, 17, 18, & 19. It’s flying by, I swear. Check out this picture! I am totally feeling the spring and Easter spirit right about now.

I love this outfit! Maternity Dress: Old Navy Jacket: JCPenny

What’s baby up to? According to BabyCenter, the ”babies now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). They are busy moving amniotic fluid through there nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in there lungs begin to develop.

During my last doctor appointment my doctor said the babies are doing awesome and I am kicking butt with this being my first twin pregnancy. Music to my ears. It really makes me feel great that everything is going well so far.

Total Weight Gain: I’m up about 8 pounds, which is less than I feel like I gained. I swear I’m already waddling around.

Fitness: I've been walking a lot and doing yoga lately.

Symptoms: So far backpain which is expected. But either then that I haven't really noticed to much lately. I do know that my hormones are all over the place.

Sleep: It’s not too terrible currently. Tony has been promoted to my body pillow.  I’m still getting up at least once every night, but it could be worse. Note to self: stop chugging ice water before bed.

Cravings: At this point, it would be safer to say what I’m not craving. Everything sounds good. I was on a baked potato soup kick for a while, but now I just want literally anything I see. I’m on that see-food diet. In related news, I drink tea once in a while.

Maternity Clothes: I’m pretty much entirely in maternity clothing at this point. I can still get away with my regular shirts as long as they are loose, but that’s about it. I need more maternity

leggings and shirts.

Baby Items Bought/Received: Finally, my breast pump and maternity belt has arrived. I’m researching video monitors and double strollers, but other than that we are hoping to re-use a lot of stuff from before. Shout out to all my frugal people.

Goals: Continue the beast mode, staying active, eating healthy, meditate more and convince my child that having a sibling is going to totally rock.

Worries: No worries. We just have to trust everything is going well!

Best Moment: Mesias asks to kiss my belly and say goodnight before bed every night now. I have to be honest, though. He definitely has his motives. The kid knows it prolongs the time he has before bedtime and he also gets to make gross noises on my stomach which cracks him up. Sibling love, y’all.

Belly button in or out: its beginning to go a little flat when I am full but its still in.

Excited for: gender reveal party, our upcoming babymoon, and 20 week appointment when the Dr. will confirm we are having...!

Have a great Easter weekend.
