New Year's Resolution 5k/2-Mile Walk

Today I woke up motivated, eating all of my excuses for breakfast and attended my first 5k/2-Mile Walk this year. The best thing about it is that my family was with me. 


Remember my 2017 Bucket List: Theme of the Year




The weather was perfect. Brisk to start during the 1 Mile post mark. Then started running. We started at the Coronado Bay, and wandered my the beach looking at the beautiful city downtown throughout the course.


During our walk on the way back we decided to take our time because of the amazing view of the bay looking into the city. Mesias was in the stroller for about 2 miles and then he wanted to join us and run towards the end. Made my day watching him run with me. 



Finished in last place 56.00 and it was totally worth it.

I tossed my arm sleeves during the run, but otherwise, this outfit worked perfectly! I am so grateful to be able to participate for the first time this year. Running, jogging, walking is a personal choice, and I cannot stress how important it is to listen to your body. There's no competition to see who can exercise or stay active the most strenuously.
