I think it's safe to say that our first deployment so far is going by fast. Many of you have asked, "How do we do it?". Well...I must say the number one thing that I am sure most of you can agree to is literally stay Busy and stay Sane.
I am very blessed to be able to have a legitimate career to be able to work from home, volunteer, and enjoy life with my family. So much has happened this month for us. Celebrated our sweet baby boy Mesias turning 3 with a special homemade Mickey Mouse cake. We celebrated at The New Children's Museum for the first time and they did a nice birthday special for us.
Tony was able to send a beautiful birthday video and gift provided by United Through Reading's® Military Program. We received his gift the day before his birthday which was great timing. Special thank you to all of our families and friends who are across the country and in Europe who took the time out to send so many nice gifts to make a sweet boy happy during this time. What would we do without you guys.
To My Husband, Tony you define the characteristics of a "Real Man". You love our son with everything you've got. You are the biggest role model and leader to many. You are such an amazing fierce protector and Hero to us. We love you so much and blessed to have you.
(California has earthquakes! I can't believe we experienced our first 5.2 magnitude quake....well basically we slept right through it, including "Furbaby" Acey Poo Poo. Maybe next time. In the meantime any recommendations on how to "prepare" for a earthquake?)
